MOT earnings were bad. AMD earnings were bad. INTEL is closing plants and laying off workers. A company usually does not do this when things look just OK. I am not a MIT doctorate as yourself but for this laymen it just dont look to good. I think Intel will have bad earnings also. The whole sector is down for now.
