Hello Everyone,
First, let me say that this board is a crack-up! Oh, I almost forgot...I'm not the shark--Larry will vouch for me, as he has x-rays to prove I have no fins. :-)
First let me say that I want TMMI to succeed. I'm an old-timer in TMMI--early 1994 @ $1.25/share when I really couldn't afford it. Therefore, I have little sympathy for those who are unhappy with a reduction in share price from 9 cents to 2 cents. I'm still paying interest on the TMMI loan I took out 4 years ago when I invested in what is now a trivial 50,000 shares.
I've learned my lesson, but I was swept up by the fractal technology. I had just finished my MS in Computer Science with an emphasis in Software Engineering and Multimedia Applications Development. I've followed this board since its inception, and many times I've wanted to sign up with SI just to post a message as to how ridiculous some of the useless banter has been.
It seems to me that the true essence of this SI Board is to provide a mechanism for the useful exchange of information, questions, answers, and research as to why (or why not) a person should invest in a given company. Somewhere along the line, this was lost in the translation. Of the more than 10,250 posts on this board, less than 20% have any real value.
Here are a few questions I have. Oh and please don't harass me for asking them, my intention is pure. I have no desire to have verbal battles of wit with anyone, nor do I want to engage in 'silicon road rage.' I'm delighted to actually flash my turn signal as a 'signal of intention' rather than a 'signal of execution.' I'm truly interested from a technical standpoint, and fiscally interested from a business standpoint. I am seeking an intelligent and equitable exchange of information.
1. What is wrong with getting answers to Arnie's business-related questions? He is constantly being bashed for asking legitimate, fundamental, investor-based questions?
2. If TMMI is a high-tech company, as I once believed, then where is the technology it possesses, and can I analyze it from a technical vantage point?
3. Who are the members of the TMMI board of directors, and what are their qualifications?
4. Will there be a new board elected at the shareholder's meeting?
5. I recall a suggestion that TMMI produce a newsletter (perhaps even an e-mail newsletter). What is the status of this?
Finally, it's hard to lend credibility to fortune teller posters with bogus user names. If you know something legitimate, say what it is, and then tell us how to verify its validity. If it's such a secret that you have to be cryptic, don't waste your time. Thanks very much. Michael |
