UPDATE ON THE CIMA GOES TO CANGALLI TRIP:

The trip, originally planned for next week, has been postponed for two reasons.

1) Jim Bishop was told by his physician yesterday that 17,000 feet in La Paz would do his heart no good at all. Jim has had some heart trouble in the past and can elaborate if he wishes. This obviously creates a change in planning since he cannot go.

2) While the company has been supportive, I have been unable to obtain the necessary details required to assure Guido's availability on certain dates and the minimal logistical support I would require while down there. It appears to be more a matter of timing given the events of the past two weeks. They have been simply too busy on more important matters and justifiably so IMO.

If contributors still view this as a good idea, I am more than willing to go. I am waiting for a response from management re dates and have suggested that I accompany them on their next trip down. I've asked Jim to continue to administer the funding side of the equation and I guess that's the best gauge of support for the idea. If anyone wants their money returned just PM him and your cheque will be returned immediately. If there are insufficient funds then I'll make the decision on whether to go or not. Various newspapers and some TV have expressed an interest in the trip because of its unique nature involving the mining side and the internet. The media coordination plan to be managed by us would stay in place.
