Thanks for your reply David. Unfortunately I don't know squat about options. Someone told me about writing covered calls, is this the same thing as selling covered calls? I didn't like the idea of writing covered calls because I stand the chance of having to sell my stock to the person for a loss. LOL....How would this differ from me just shorting 1000 shares? (I have never shorted a stock in my life, I think it's un-american...lol)
