I noticed that the SPU and TYX looked like similar charts yesterday. As a curiosity, I looked up the components of the SPU but without making some kind of spreadsheet and adding up the banking content, couldn't determine anything just from a quick look. At any rate, last week SPU gained ground on increasing rates also, can this be that very low rates crimp financial margins? Don't the banks and some insurance companies depend on the wider rate spread for higher margins?

BTW Since the E-mini is electronic, somebody on Omega list said that you can look at the bid/ask on the E-mini to get an idea for buy/sell points on SPU since supposedly they track closely. Of course if one lags because of volume, then it wouldn't work.
