My clients are looking for the end-to-end solution, all of Rationals products, including RequisitePro. This is necessary to properly use Rational's Objectory methodology. As you may know, the problem is that they are not totally integrated yet since they were written by other companies. But they are getting better all the time. The integration between Rose and Visual Basic is unbelievable. What I really notice in the marketplace is that more and more of my colleagues have heard about Rose. I see terrific momentum building. Also notable is that many companies are sending their people on training for 1) OO theory 2) using an OO methodology (Objectory) and 3) an OO notation (UML). The next step is to buy a tool, or suite of tools to implement it! Lastly, the latest version of Rose blows away their previous versions. Yesterday I talked with someone who tried Rose a couple of years ago but gave up in frustration struggling with the tool. After talking to me, he said we would try again with the new version.
