Not knowing me me probably would have been a bonus for Esping (hey, just ask my wife); especially since I probably made more money off of his company than he did.

Insult me if you want. I just think the point was valid. Esping's death might have a material effect on the company and the stock price.
I didn't think the post was that sarcastic.

I'm sure that he had loved ones that missed him and that he was a great guy and all that. There are thousands of publicly traded companies to evaluate. Hundreds, if not thousands, of corporate officers die every year. If I don't know them personally I'm not going to invest any emotion in them when they pass. It's my job to determine how it effects the financial well being of the people who depend on me.

As is typical of this thread, shorts tend to take a position based on analyzing the financial condition of the company (read rationality), whereas longs tend to buy into the "story" (read emotion).
