I agree with what you say. Different 3D models will give different results. But they will all be in the same range (plus or minus 5-10% as you say)... the final estimate is still precise and mathematical. But isn't it true that the validity of the results depends solely on the quantity and accuracy of the samples taken into the model for analysis.
