Zeev, prior to your post #3039 on Jun 27th, I can't recall there being any recent discussion about the floorless securities either on SI or YAHOO. Your post (the one to which I am now responding) is the first I can recall in some time by anyone and you, in particular, on this subject. Since Jun 27th., there has been a flood of posts both here and on Yahoo in response to your severe warning of "a disaster much bigger than ABACF has been over the last year" and your near "guarantee" that the, "stock [HEC] will be on a downward spiral for almost a year."
Since all this has started, HEC has fallen approximately 10% in value. Obviously, this fall can't be planted solely on your doorstep even when you stated in the same post, "[floorless security holders] usually inherit the company at the expense of the current stockholders" but who could doubt, considering the reaction, of the element of uncertainty you introduced on June 27th., that you may have helped Harken's recent demise, only if, of course, what you have written isn't accurate.
Ze'ev, I can only speak for myself, but your post and the subsequent brouhaha, certainly upset my homeostasis and that of many others and I don't like my homeostasis to become unbalanced. Additionally, at least four posters have stated, either here or on Yahoo, that they have actually closed their position's in HEC. Frankly, I have lightened up myself as a direct result of what has transpired here.
Regardless, I appreciate your continuing to respond to posts on this thread and, as you said, nobody's calling you names---yet, even though some have come perilously close. Again, frankly, I am looking forward to your addressing some of the specific questions which Dr Doom has raised which have remained unanswered. Period.
