Not being very mathematically inclined I prefer to devote my attention to chart reading and fundamental analysis rather than TA, although I've looked at it a bit. You said before that you're looking at all of theses various periods, daily hourly, 10 min,etc. Are you actually making trades with these timespans in mind, because if you aren't I find it hard to understand the value of looking at these short periods, although I suppose they might help tip the scale when trying to make a buy/sell decision.Are you also looking at weekly charts, after all the real trend is more easiliy identified on a longer term chart.Also, how does TA deal with this rather phenomenal volatility?

edit> One more question. Why choose a stock like RMBSto trade on a TA basis. The "sample rate" is rather small,both in terms of history, although I'm not really convinced that history matters all that much, but more importantly because the average vol is rather low. Why not TA trade DELL, MSFT, whatever, stocks with big avg daily volumes? |
