Shareholders of Internet Liquidators International have approved changing the
company's name to BID.COM International Inc.
Since launching BID.COM in March 1998 as the company's consumer auction
brand, sales have increased more than 300 per cent from $1.8-million in the 1998
first quarter to $5.6-million in the 1998 second quarter.
The company's name change to BID.COM International Inc. is effective
immediately. The change of its stock symbol on the Toronto Stock Exchange to BII
will be announced within the next seven days.

What are the implications of AOL being able to buy 51%? I love the company but I see this as a negative. The company is no longer in play; no takeover premium will ever exist.
