I understand the offices near Toronto are rather spartan and I rather like companies that operate that way.
I went to visit their offices a few months back to get a information brochure. Unfortunately Dan was not available, but I did take a quick peak past reception. Their receptionist was pretty cute, she gave me the material I needed and a smile (and her phone number) (only kidding, she didnt really give me a smile) :) . The office was simple but fairly large with a conference room and about 5-6 offices along the corridor. Just the essentials, desks, chairs, phones , PC's and the usual paraphernalia.
Oh yes, last week I went to Yorkdale mall (Toronto) and happen to come across a PretzelMaker. I sat nearby and watched it for 20 min. There were a steady stream of customers (it was 4:30pm Sat) during that time. I decided to do some extensive DD on the actual product. Being a gym freak, fat content is important to me, the pretzels are all fat free which I liked. For those of you who are not familiar with the setup, this is how it works: One employee rolls the dough into a pretzel, places it on a conveyer belt which takes it through the oven. The pretzel pops out the other side 1 min later, ready to be consumed. I picked out which pretzel I wanted, some choices were garlic (I would have taken that one, but my girlfriend was with me...), icing sugar, and cinnamon to name but a few... I took the cinnamon. Im not really a pretzel fan, but wow! that was a good pretzel, I gobbled it down and then had another sugar pretzel just to make sure I had a good feel for the product. Ever since that day, my love life has been great! must be the pretzels. LOL
That concludes my adventure.
Cheers Jock-e
