I would tend to guess that they want to stay as liquid as they can so they when they hit the magical $1 1/8 further acquisitions go into effect. A company that by 31 August will have at least 88 million shares outstanding can scarcely be described as illiquid. Like Gerard, I fail utterly to see why anyone would consider this "dividend" an enhancement of shareholder value.
