I was reading some articles on IIA and came across this one.
infointeractive.com
dated June 2, 1998. I guess this is not the >>official announcement<<.
Can anybody comment on the following (inside article).
Company president Bill McMullin says clients like Cincinnati Bell find the customer support and billing service superior to anything else on the market.
InfoInterActive is also on the verge of officially announcing an arrangement with Bellcore in the U.S., which had revenue of $1 billion last year.
Bellcore was established in 1984 to provide engineering, administrative and other services to Ameritech, Bell Atlantic, Bell-South, NYNEX, Pacific Telesis, SBC Communications and U.S. West. It was sold in 1997 to Science Applications International Corp. of San Diego.
A relationship with Bellcore opens doors for InfoInterActive to major telecommunications clients, including the regional Bell companies, AT&T, GTE, Sprint, Stentor and government.
InfoInterActive is also planning to develop other products, which would be added on to the Internet Call Manager platform, says McMullin.
While there are only about 18 people on the payroll, he says the company is lean but has potential for significant growth.
I guess this is the same Bellcore that Sprint teamed up with.... |
