What your claiming is illegal. You are asserting that sham transactions are legal. They didn't even print them before '29, so they sure wouldn't do so now. If the 250k share posting was a transaction, it has to be acknowledged as such by all member firms. It has to go through clearance just like any public transaction. A market maker's capital requirement has nothing to do with it. If they can't meet the maintenance haircut, either they have to get outside funds or they go to jail. An exchange of stock between market makers that shows as a phantom or sham transaction is certainly consistent with the claim that market manipulation is going on, but if I was a market maker I sure wouldn't trust some other operator to hide the evidence.
In this case they are boldly showing the evidence!
