The problem is that it creates this continuing distrust based upon how prices act. It creates misinformation that hurts everyone involved. The move in IMNR was public speculation at its worst and the consequence was totally appropriate. Perfectly fair. To then come out with some proof that IMNNR or MMs or something is doing great evil to the good public is absurd. This represents trader mentality at the public level. The only thing that can be said about that is it never lasts long so it isn't significant. That is, the public traders go broke fast enough so they are out of the way. You do yourself harm by trading and by getting involved with sensationalism. The market is not a casino. It is a place that you go to buy or sell. If you go there too often, it turns into a casino and that means you lose.
