Jeffrey, I'm interested to know who Datek's market maker is that does
8% of NASDAQ volume daily. Do they own this market maker or do
they trade thru them? To the best of my knowledge, Datek is a new
company and their market maker would be too if they owned them
(unless the mkt maker operates under a different name). If they do
8% of NASDAQ volume that would make them about #2 or #3 in
market share and that seems hard to believe.

By the way, Schwab (including e.Schwab) owns market maker Mayer
& Schweitzer outright. M&S has NASDAQ market share about 9% so
I'm curious how Datek became so large so fast.

Thanks for the reply.
