Al: If the dollar continues to surge there will be hell to pay abroad as deflationary pressures intensify. Rubin and Greenspan are caught between a rock and a hard place -- damned if they do and damned if they don't. A huge smash in US stocks is just a matter of time -- whatever route they follow.
