goldsnow...the intersting part of the post was the table on days till we run dry in the USA as well as XTO's outlook on worldwide consumption. My underlying belief is simple. No matter what happens to the worldwide economy, oil consumpion will still increase(perhaps at a somewhat slower pace, true):

reason is there are more people and more people means more oil.
