The dangerous effect of long short/long is that we can make a wrong assumption then the loss is too big. I already had that pain tremenduosly in shorting BFT. (BTW do you still short bft, I plan to get out the rest and wait and see). I have limited funds so I will cover amzn at small gain tomorrow (hopefully) then reshort higher (the risk is it might drops after you recover) in/out to practice as well as gain more (don't laugh I am ready to count pennies).
One of my new strategy is to buy/short stocks in a trading range for 3-5% many times a week until my account is less red.
Well tell you after I get back most my loss then I stay away for a while or really invest (long/short and diversified) instead of high stress trading. I think I have to use stop loss from now on!
(Any advice on BFT is welcome)
