can you share with me your feelings on trading stocks (or should i say investing) <g> in IRA accounts?

my parents like the tax free returns but dislike the fact that if I lose money, then it's from an IRA account ---> you can only put $2000/yr.. $2000 is easy to lose with stocks <g>

hope you understood my question.

Chris

** note, we have a large IRA account, but all in mutual funds.
my dad has been doing mutual funds for 15 yrs.
