*AV*-Whoops, it looks like you beat me to the punch with the press release. nothing like wasting space by posting it again<GGG>. You people are just getting too good and too fast for me to keep up with.

I am very pleased with the PLAB acquisition today. I have been quiet recently and stopped trying to force trades. I have also been trying to get the timing a little better. Just for ego purposes, I wouldn't mind PLAB taking a nice pop tomorrow since it would signify that my timing seems to be improving<GGG>.

BTW-The VECO "daytrade" of a few days ago looks like it is about to hit the bottom of the roller coaster again. Hopefully we will see a bit more of a retracement and then try to ride it up again for a 10% or better short term trade.

BTW2-KLAC is looking real good to me also. With SEMICON next week, We might see a nice temporary pop out of it due to the analyst meeting that have been scheduled during the show. nothing like a dog and pony show for the bean counters at the show. So far, the following companies have announced Analyst meetings for the show:

AMAT-ETEC-KLAC-KLIC-LRCX-NVLS-TER-SFAM-VECO-VAR

Of the ones listed above (which I guess represents the majors that the investment community seems to be interested in), I think we could get some action out of AMAT-KLAC-NVLS-VECO so special attention should be given to these stocks over the next few days.

Also, as a reminder, please refer to my previous post relating to possible SEMICON West indiced volatility. Be careful and do not chase anything.

Andrew
