Jacob,

I've been consistent with my "predictions" insofar as I believe that sentiment will rule the day. During periods of no visibility(Read:now), analysts are coming out with very low eps estimates going forward. Low eps means a low hurdle to jump once the market turns. Once financing is arranged for say a TSMC, do you think all of the others will stand still? Of course not.

I have always maintianed that this group/sector is one of extremes on both the upside and the downside. Last summer there were actually people in the industry who came out and said that this was no longer a cyclical indudtry. How soon they forget. The same could be said now. Listening to the bears talk now, you'd think no more fabs would ever be built. Again, how soon they forget....
