Like so many millions of other people, I don't have those great medical benefits that you are talking about and yet I am still conserned about my health. Since I have a large deductable; and since healthy people, who seem to be more concerned about cholesterol, rarely meet their deductable during most years, I'm here to tell you in no uncertain terms that the test kit is far far cheaper, and more convenient, than going to the doctor. And don't forget the people who don't trust doctors, and also those paranoid health nuts who want regular tests and find it inconvenient to go to the doctor. The reasons the kit hasn't sold well is that it is a whole cholestorol test and the J&J advertising was practically nonexistent. The only reason that I ever saw any advertising at all is that I already owned the stock when the test came out and I tried very hard to stay alert during TV ads to see if I would ever see anything -- I did, perhaps twice, but I think I was lucky. Lastly, don't forget that they (CMTR) are also seeking aproval for a high density test to sell to doctors.
