Michael,

The absence of Japanese tourist from Malaysia and Singapore is much discussed. We have seen more tours of Tainwanese and the Ausies are always noticeable in sheer numbers. Singapore's shopping malls have gone quiet and right now there is a city wide sale going on that features discounts as high as 50%. It is a grat time for those with cash and a fervent need for more "stuff".
