Today's decline had little to do with AMD's poor earning report. It was mainly due to the earnings warning by PLAB. All the .25 litho oriented stocks (including PLAB, DPMI, ETEC) were down sharply today. The warning by PLAB clearly shows that the 0.25 litho companies are more vulnerable to this over supply and Asian crisis than previously thought. Who knows were the bottom is for any semi stock. It could certainly be a lot lower than where we are today.
