Two different animals

Direct sales and retail sales aren't the same. I'm in retail and the biggest jokes I see are manufacturers/distributors that experiment with retail outlets. Retail looks deceptively simple but the battles in retail are every bit as brutal - and sophisticated - as business in any other arena. CPU isn't graceful but they can deliver the knockout blow - they are the Jack Johnson of the computer retail business and are well equipped to handle any Michigan Assassin who comes along. Of course, CPU is also trying direct sales. My money's on CPU.
