Yes, that is what struck me about the Cambior-Golden Star press release. 1045 diamond drill holes over 108,000 meters. 5054 Auger holes and 45 kilometers of trenching suggest 2.4 million ounces at $400 gold, 27% less at $350. Zappa "sells" its concessions to Ecuadorian Minerals for stock and Cambior says nothing, makes no counter offer, after doing only a fraction of the amount of drilling. Cambior drills 3 holes at a time at La Plata
which probably has a comparable value as Cambiors Gross Rosebel project. Why is Cambior proceeding so slowly with La Plata? One possible reason is whats known as "running a shaker."
By keeping a low profile on La Plata, CBJ keeps people from investing in "their" stock, while shaking out existing shareholders that give up and sell. Then insiders accumulate and wait for the next promotion before selling. I don't believe that Cambior is interested in any pump and dump scheme. They have no reason to do this. Maybe they want to buy as many shares of ZPA as cheap as possible. Maybe they intend to abandon La Plata. Zappa could rise to .40 if it is believed that Cambior will not drop their option on La Plata. With only three holes drilled, we have no room for error.La Plata must show some mineralization.
