David You are gonna like my answer! We have a couple of state parks to camp in with great facilities and a river. but..... I just bought a little place on a lake in a cove with waterfront, only 55 feet of waterfront, but it has a little cabana with a deck and it has a floating dock. I hesitate to mention that I bought a used boat that I am having a hard time with it dying in idle, but you can fish from it if you like to do that. You can hang out there and sleep on the deck. I spent the night out there last Friday night and it has a great breeze coming up the cove. It should be around 70 in late October. We don't get winter here until Jan and Feb. You can get the Mexico on a day trip also, if that interests anyone. I have a four man tent you are welcome to borrow and sleeping bags if you would rather rough it and you won't have to bring all that with you. Coleman lantern-ice chest ... all that stuff :) CBP
