Here it is, July 10th, and ALK is back up to 59 7/8. I think that the airlines look strong into earnings and should move up a little more prior to announcements. DAL has a BOD meeting and earnings on 7-29, they should do well and possibly announce a split. This should help the others; if the price of crude remains low up to that date.

I have some options on both ALK and DAL. Have not obtained any recent info on a possible split for ALK; but if the earnings are good, then I guess that would be a possibility.

I also have moved into the techs and drug stocks. Dell, csco, nxtl, macr, pfe and mrk. If the airlines pop, then I will sell the calls and move on. I really like LOV; but they just don't move that well.
