Hi Fuzman: I have many concerns about the direction that this company has taken. I think Bill Jackson has already voiced many of my concerns and suggested some remedies that this company could try. All forms of this type of selling have little appeal to me. I am amazed that these television shopping channels work. And, what about infomercials. That said, I think Bid.com is on the right track. I have my money where my mouth is, and I've recently bought more. Market share is crucial to this type of business. I believe their increasing revenues equate to increasing market share and possibly some repeat business. Changing the Canadian site to a last-minute type travel auction was a good move. For my part, I am anxious for some price movement before some US firm (with cash) acquires this market share for what would surely be a discount considering the lofty prices for similar concept companies on US exchanges.
Could be an interesting day for this stock. Some investors will no doubt have noticed that yesterday it led the TSE % gainers as displayed on CBC Newsworld. Have a good one.
