Maurice, Unfortunately the license negotiation also includes some cross-licensing as well. Ericsson has claimed for at least a year or two that they have some patents that infringe on CDMA. They probably figure they can get a good deal on the license by agreeing to drop these claims. Will Qualcomm go along or fight? It is probably in QCOM's interest to settle, as they did with IDC, just to get this behind them. What do you think?
