Did you see article detailing that view in Wired magazine awhile back? It convinced me. If retail transactions are taking place over the net, FDX will earn a bundle delivering the goods. More importantly, the just-in-time supply chain management philosophy means that FDX provides a virtual warehouse for many industries. The article was in Wired last October or November and is well worth reading.
