I have (sort of) access to this info but that should be taken with a grain of salt: The largest volumes in the world are in Asia and California, not here in Dallas (Houston/Compaq excepted of course). What I see will be a bit jaded (but I DO call on some serious price whores)...

256K (32K x 8) SRAM: Spot $0.80 - $0.95 Contract $1.30
1M (32K x 32) PBSRAM: Spot $4.25 - $4.50 Contract $4.70

Why the range? If you are a fabless Taiwan storefront masquerading as a domestic supplier (ISSI, ALSC) you don't command as high of a price as a real domesic supplier with your own fabs (MU, CY, IDTI, MOT).

Those prices are up, although not significantly, since Q3. More interestingly, buyers are providing 4-6 week demand visibility instead of 4-6 days.

Lastly, it is not a good idea to use one or two months worth of pricing as an indicator. Wait for a quarter of continual increases PLUS continual >1.00 book-to-bill before making investment decisions based on SRAM pricing trends. IMHO, of course.

DRAMs - I don't directly get access to that, just word-of-mouth from fellow sales folks and friends that work for TI.
