SEGAWORLD: New virtual reality attractions unveiled
JUL 9, 1998, M2 Communications - Bored this summer? Why not come down to SEGAWORLD where a whole host of new interactive activities will keep the whole family entertained for hours. With three new virtual reality pods, a series of upgrades of old arcade favourites and an array of new themed games, there is a wider variety than ever before.
'Total Recoil' uses state of the art technology to provide the ultimate virtual reality clay shoot experience. Still using your hands, try 'Virtuality Boxing'. Acclaimed as Virtual Reality at its best, 'Virtuality Boxing' challenges you to beat your opponent by knocking him out on a points decision.
The legendary eighties game 'PacMan' is back at SEGAWORLD in a new Virtual Reality format. You are the 'PacMan' in the maze trying to collect the pink balls. But beware the ghosts are out to shrink you!
With World Cup fever at its height, there is no better time to brush up on your football skills. Try 'Virtua Striker 2' the World Cup '98 version or if you want to really put the boot in, try either 'Kick It' or PK World Soccer', both use a real ball to allow you to take penalties and free kicks against a computer generated goalie.
For the really energetic among you, build up a sweat racing your friends on 'Final Furlong', the new hilarious interactive horse racing game. Beware! Its hard on your legs!! Or battle against the downhill rapids in 'Rapid River' - another one for the energetic among you.
If you fancy a roller coaster ride but are afraid of heights, look no further than SEGAWORLD. 'Max Flight' Europe's first virtual reality roller coaster allows you to design your own ride from over a million combinations and also lets you experience full 'G' forces to add to the adrenaline rush!
Race Track, the best driving games zone in Europe, has some new arrivals this Summer. There's a chance to ride your very own Harley, with four Harley Davidson machines, whilst cult rides, Sega Rally and Daytona both have upgraded versions out with much improved graphics.
To round off your day of intense activity, why not wind down a little with a few holes on the virtual putting green, or see what you can catch whilst fly fishing.
