Actually I do know what it is like.
But it was a different stock in a different market in a different time.

But you know what, Nothing is different but the date and the weather.

I got killed when the stock blew up. Why did it blow up ?
No fundamental reason....er well, not till the stock had corrected 75% over 6-9 months did fundamental problems start to surface. But I made the mistake of trusting the voices I was hearing.

This story happens all the time.
DELL is one of the most solid companies and stocks I have seen.
But no matter how wonderful all of the reasons, If a seller shows up,
and when I say a seller I mean someone with 10 million shares to unload, The reasons for selling or buying won't matter.
That one trade could lead to the water fall, or the chinese water tourcher of a slow painful death.

DELL is not KO or GE. It is a delux comodity company with very good customer relations.
It may take a recession to take them down. But it will happen.
This is my conviction.
Will the real but very subtle earnings problems surface in the August report as I expect ? I was right on the April number, Despite what every one wants to believe, they were just a little disapointing, and If you look at them the right way, they are OK. But OK is a departure from Great holycow sonofagon Waytogo quarter.

Time will tell all.
