It has been very useful so far, but I am suspicious that it will lose some of its value, as the nas pushes closer and closer to a 4-1 ratio; it will get a bit more difficult to interpret. What has happened so far is a 5-1 ratio, + or - 10%. I think we would need to see a 10+ year chart to see if there has been a slow move toward a lower ratio. I think there has but am unsure.
