Jacob,>to teri: bull-baiting can be fun, but be careful. They haven't been fed in almost a year now, and that's made them very cranky.<

Not all "long range" Bulls are are having "PMS"<g>. Some of us just see better buying opportunities to accumulate (steal) more AMAT shares at a "fire sale." However, I feel bad for a local broker who took the recommendation of his corporate analyst and margined at $54. He is in trouble. And, just think he is managing other $$$$$. It is a major brokerage firm.

I still have not seen any post on what impact the Y2K problem will have on additional purchases of computers, etc and therefore the Semi and Semi-Equipment industry. Any takers? Maybe I just overlooked the posts.

My opinions.
