CAPITAL GAINS ALERT !! <g>
i havent seen any plain text on this, but it seems we will have
a 12month holding period for long term capital gains, for sales
after 12/31/97, rather than the CURRENT 18month holding period...so,
is this important ?? damn right, if: (1) you see Tmmi as gaining
sigificant ground from it's current 2cents, and (2) you loaded
up later on last year ! i am certain that many people will be
selling into decent run-ups later this year (prediction)
now, if you dont believe any of this will happen, turn over and
go back to sleep <g>
