You might be correct about ROK dropping the Modems chips business, but then again the spinoff of the semiconductor unit does not indicate that the new unit will abondon modem's chips business, does it?

I would expect exactly the opposite. They will be better focused on higher margin products. ROK announced their Consumer's DSL even before there was G.Light, then they signed up a contract with PAIR to allow them the manufacturing of Falcon chips. Thru their ties with ASND I believe they will continue to compete with COMS in ADSL business. Just MHO.
