You answered the question yourself! Tech trends are pushing theses two behemoths up, which begs the question of tech trends. Even many of SAP's competitors are down, not to mention all the different varieties of tech stocks in the doldrums. What I was saying was just a little voo-doo that has worked for me in the past and nothing more.
