Affinity Technology Group and NCR Sign Alliance Agreement
Advanced NCR ATMs to Include Affinity Automated Lending Capability
DALLAS, Dec. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Affinity Technology Group Inc and NCR today announced a strategic alliance combining NCR's new "Personas 83" line of automated self-service financial kiosks with Affinity's Decisys/RT [sm] decisioning technology, enabling banks to automate lending and new deposit services to their customers 24 hours a day, seven days a week. NCR will "Affinity-enable" its financial kiosks, which will also offer traditional and advanced self-service functions.
"This agreement combines Affinity's innovative self-service products with NCR's cutting-edge ATM technology and national distribution network," said Jeff Norris, President and CEO of Affinity. "Consumers want to be able to access financial services all day, every day. NCR's new Affinity-enabled advanced function kiosk meets that demand head on. This is a major step forward in Affinity's strategy of delivering financial services without borders."
Andrew Orent, Vice President Self-Service, U.S., at NCR, emphasized the benefits consumers will enjoy from NCR's new generation of self-service kiosks. "Financial institutions are under enormous pressure to provide better services at lower costs. The Affinity-enabled Personas 83 does both, allowing our customers to offer consumers most of the services available at a branch without the brick-and-mortar investment," he said.
In addition to announcing their agreement, Affinity offered bankers a first-hand look at the new Affinity-enabled Personas 83 at the BAI Retail Delivery Show in Dallas, Texas. Industry leaders could see first-hand how the device, coupled with Affinity's Decisys/RT [sm] decision-support system, could take and process a consumer loan application or open a checking account, approve it, and deliver a check and other documents -- all in a matter of minutes.
