A recent article in the Hunstville Forester reported about declining fish stocks in the head waters of the Magnetawan River. The article implied that the Kearney mining operation may have been the cause of the problem.

The article went on to report that two environmental types were considering asking for charges to be laid. It was unclear as to who could or would be charged, however, I believe Applied Carbon of America was specifically mentioned in the article.
