I'm wondering--wouldn't it be better in the end to dilute the stock with an offering now and form a partnership later negotiating from strength with some positive data? I'm fairly naive with respect to this aspect of it--but it seems making a deal now would lock the company into a much less lucrative deal if the trials work, and if they don't, the company is toast anyhow.
