One year ago so called 'silver bullit solutions' popped up now and then. By and large they have been dismissed as such. Peter de Jager has written an excellent rebuttal article on this topic.

Just think of issues such as:

- lost source code
- languages such as PL/1 (most tools can only handle one language very well; mostly COBOL).

Many other reasons can be presented to refute the claim of such a SB solution.
