Anumber of things come to mind for why a company would want MPRS. 1) MPRS is currently in trouble because it concentrated on PC games which is always a moving target and was there ever a game that did not come with a load of bugs. With Consoles its one piece of Hardware that is always the same. But with Dx3D and OpenGL starting to become standards it will be easier to Develop PC games in the future. Also the PII will be the lowest uP available and no consumers will be buying an XEON or MECED to play games. Unlike before you needed for HW 386, 486, Pentium, 3D card now there will be lots of low cost 2D/3D cards. For the O/S DOS, Win 3.11 then Win 95 now Win 98. 2) PC games should port easily over to the new SEGA Dreamcast. cl >>>> Does anybody here own a Playstation, hehe. So why would a company like thq which apparently earned two bucks a share last year doing console games want to get into PC, maybe PC really has finally narrowed the gap for ease of use, certainly PC games on average are much superior.<<<<<
