Patrick,

The Circuit City near my house is not what I would consider a
first tier retailer of computers. They sell PC's amongst TV, refrigerators,
radios, cell phones, auto alarms, etc. They do not specialize in PCs.

I have never been in a BB or even seen one. The name implies that
they are a general discount store. Anyway , I do not know.

The biggest stores around here are Fry's Electronics, CompUSA, and
Computer City. More or less in that order. They all seem to be going
like gangbusters. They are worried about stock. Fry's Electronics
is a superstore and they have the best selection of merchandise.
CompUSA is somewhat smaller and tends to not have as much
software and selection of peripheral devices. Fry's has some
Pentium Pros but mostly Pentiums including 200 Mhz. Computer City
has lower end PC's and no Pentium Pros.

This is all I know about the retailers. I think business is better
than Joe and Dave think at the retail level.
