Dr. Ramsey Batra, thanks for finally coming clean on your true thoughts. I tend to agree, maybe. I got completely out of the market a few weeks ago on similar anxieties. Bought back 1/3 of prior Q holdings but keeping the rest in MM and t-bills for now. Feels good to be watching the Japanese crisis unfold from the sidelines. INMHO it could go either way. Actually, I think Ravi had it right in 1990 (notwithstanding some wag's (dougjn?) hilarious send-up of his current position at Taco Bell). The only thing that precluded that depression was the Western economies pull-back from free deficit spending. Who'd a thought that was possible back in 1989? Makes me think the Japanese might get it together as well. If so, I can't see too much else on the horizon with the potential to derail this market. Don't you sometimes wish you had some of whatever it is Maurice is on (perhaps a slightly smaller dosage level)?
