Well I am really worried. I publish my name address and phone number in my profile! The bit about addresses is a bit much. Like the court is going to give my address to the mafia as I have said I don't take a shine to them! I think that judge is a fuddy duddy and he ranks with the guy who was giving the Hells Angels inside info on their prosecutions. It is irresponsible of the court to name those people except where the State or the crown is granted leave to proceed with criminal proceedings or where a suit is launched and proceeds to discovery. Acting as Phillips paranoid ferret is a bit much and is exceeding the power and purpose of the court. It is not for the courts of the land to act as a de facto libeller of people or as a threat to the community for behaviour not proven as harmful. The court here acts as Phillips agent of intimidation.

My ISP I am told will not furnish any personal info without a warrant as their agreement with their carrier has no terms of use provisions.
These warrants can not be enforced across state lines as they are not federal and the myriad of providers in the States cannot be coerced to take sanctions politically against the providers who are host. If SI provided such information about myself to a state order I could sue them in that such an order would be illegal in my country as it violates our privacy act.
