Star recently purchased P-1 which is a calling card company which may or may not be within Star's realm of management expertise - ie they have received criticism on this acquisition. I believe the criticism is largely unjustified and the sell-off has been over done. Tommorrow (7/11) Star will be announcing some excellent figures for Q2 and I believe this basically sound company in good markets will move yet higher in Monday trading. Star is also rumored to be on the verge of a big deal with a major local carrier, and may move similar to the way Brooks Fiber moved before the Worldcom deal.
